 How to mark handwritten student papers?

1. Ask your students to submit a pdf file of their work. The mobile App "Tap Scanner" is easy to do that with.

2. Open the file in "Adobe Acrobat Reader DC" and click on "Comment" on the left side of the figure below.


3.  Click on 'Pen' and select the color and pen's sickness of preference (See 2 in Red)

 

4. Correct the exam using your mouse or a writing pad connected to your computer. Erase your written text if you like. Save the file (in Red) and send it back to your student for the feedback!

5. You can also type text by pressing the "T" on the menu.

Showing your company revenues and return-on-investment percentage in single plot

 How do you add a second y-axis to the right of your figure in Excel?  Consider the following example of Incomes in thousands and gain as a percentage and you want to show it as follows.   If you plot them on the same y-axis, "Gain" will not be recognizable. The solution is to plot 'Gain' on a secondary y-axis. The steps are as follow: 1. Select all your data  2. Click 'Insert' from the menu and select your chart type (eg, bar, line, scatter) 3. Right-click on the line you want to show it in the secondary y-axis (Gain in our example)  4. Choose 'Format Data Series' from the open drop menu.
